Andrea Berner

Andrea Berner is an accomplished optical system design engineer with extensive experience at ZEISS Group since April 2011, holding positions such as Senior Optical System Design Engineer and Optical Design Engineer. Prior to this, Andrea was a PhD student at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena from December 2014 to June 2020, and served as a Student Research Assistant at Fraunhofer IOF from September 2008 to March 2010. Educationally, Andrea earned a PhD in Engineering from Friedrich Schiller University Jena and holds both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Laser and Optotechnologies from Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena.
