Dirk Mulzer

Dirk Mulzer is an experienced professional in operational excellence and Lean management, currently serving as the Head of Operational Excellence at ZEISS Group since March 2022. Prior to this role, Dirk held positions as a Senior Advisor at Horváth, Vice President at Lufthansa where focus was on implementing Lean management and continuous improvement across the LH Group, and Managing Director at Lumics Consulting, overseeing Lean transformation projects. Dirk also served as Vice President of Product Engineering Project at LSG Lufthansa Service Holding AG, managing global processes for product development and ensuring standardized, KPI-based practices. Dirk holds a Diplom Betriebswirt (FH) degree from FH Mainz and an Abitur from Peutinger Gymnasium in Augsburg.
