Michael Skobierski

Michael Skobierski has a diverse work experience in supply chain and transport management. Michael started their career at Hilti Austria GmbH as a Transport Process Expert from December 2007 to January 2009. Michael then moved on to Hilti as a Transport Manager for CEE from February 2009 to September 2010. After that, they joined Desigual, where they held various roles including Head of Transport from September 2010 to August 2012, Asia Supply Chain Manager from July 2012 to April 2020, and Supply Chain | International Operations / Import Manager from April 2020 to January 2023. Their responsibilities included overseeing global distribution transport, leading teams, implementing transport strategies, and participating in various projects. Currently, they are the Head of Global Warehousing at ZEISS Group, starting from February 2023.

Michael Skobierski studied at the Fachhochschule des BFI Wien from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a degree in Logistics and management of transport. In 2007, they completed a diploma thesis at Bosch Barcelona. Michael also attended the Arcada University of Applied Sciences in 2005 as part of an Erasmus program. Prior to their higher education, they attended BRG Perchtoldsdorf from 1994 to 2002.
