Jörg Marzel

Jörg Marzel has over 30 years of work experience, with a focus on cybersecurity and data privacy. Jörg started their career in the German Air Force as a Security and Data Privacy Officer from 1986 to 1996. Jörg then worked at GE Healthcare IT as the Leader Remote Operation Center RIS EMEA from 2000 to 2009. Since 2009, they have been with Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, where they held various roles including Director 2nd Level Service Networking and currently serves as the Global CISO. In this role, they are responsible for cybersecurity and data privacy across all Carl Zeiss Meditec products and manages the company's ISO27001 certification.
