Achim Hurrelmann

Professor Of Political Science at Carleton University

Achim Hurrelmann is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in political science, currently serving as a Professor at Carleton University since January 2007. Achim holds several prominent positions including Co-Director of the Centre for European Studies, Chair of the Department of Political Science, and Jean Monnet Chair focused on "Democracy in the European Union." Additionally, Hurrelmann directs the Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies and has progressed through various academic ranks at Carleton University.
