Anita Grace possesses extensive experience in academia and law enforcement. Currently serving as an Instructor at Carleton University since September 2014, Anita has taught courses on Social Justice, Human Rights, and Criminal Justice. As a PhD candidate, research focused on women's criminalization, reintegration, and intimate partner violence, earning the SSHRC Joseph-Armand Bombardier CGS Doctoral Scholarship from 2016 to 2019. In addition to academic roles, Anita has held positions at the Ottawa Police Service as a Team Lead in Evidence and Data Analytics and as Sr Data Analyst, contributing to evidence-based decisions and organizational analyses. Previous roles include work as a Research Analyst with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sprott School of Business, and as a Consultant Researcher with Ottawa Police Service. Anita's educational background includes a PhD in Law and Legal Studies and an MA in Conflict Studies, among other degrees.
