Joanne Steventon

Joanne Steventon is an accomplished content marketing manager with extensive experience in journalism and communications. Currently serving as the Content Marketing Manager at The Ottawa Hospital since September 2021, Steventon also teaches a second-year course, "Digital Journalism Toolkit," at Carleton University. Previously, Steventon held the positions of Content Marketing Manager and Senior Writer at the University of Ottawa, where a communications strategy for the Faculty of Medicine was developed, significantly boosting editorial content production. Earlier roles include Associate Producer at CBC, Expedition Podcast Producer for Canada C3, and Communications Officer at CBC, among others. Joanne holds a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Journalism from Carleton University, as well as additional education from Algonquin College.
