Marycollette Chinonyere

MaryCollette Chinonyere is currently serving as the AI Product & Governance Lead (Research) at Carleton University, where MaryCollette focuses on developing governance frameworks for responsible AI use in public service. Prior to this role, MaryCollette was the Program Operations and Strategy Lead for the Umoja Program, enhancing community-centered programming for equity. Previously, as a Senior Product Manager at Access Bank Plc, a leading financial institution in the EMEA region, MaryCollette led product strategy for a feature on a mobile app serving over 40 million customers. Earlier experience includes roles as a Product Graduate Trainee and Product & Customer Experience Associate at BuyPower, where MaryCollette contributed to utility payment solutions. MaryCollette holds a Master of Entrepreneurship in Technology Innovation Management from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Covenant University.
