Yolana Junco

Yolana Junco is an experienced financial and operational leader, currently serving as the Director of Finance and Operations for the Athletics Department at Carleton University since October 2008, managing a $20 million operation that encompasses business development, finance, information technology, and facility maintenance. Prior to this role, Yolana was the Assistant Director within the same department, overseeing a $13 million budget related to financial, human resources, and business operations. Yolana's previous experience includes serving as a Financial Manager at Carleton University's Faculty of Science from August 2004 to October 2008 and as a Business Analyst at the Center of Molecular Immunology from 1993 to 1998. Educational qualifications include a Certified Managerial Accountant designation obtained between 2001 and 2003, an MBA in business management from Carleton University completed in 2000, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Havana University earned in 1993.
