Leandro Marcello

Leandro Marcello has a solid work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Leandro currently holds the position of Vice President of Quality & EHS at Carlex Glass America, LLC since January 2023. Prior to this, from May 2021 to January 2023, they worked as the Regional Quality Director at Gestamp North America. In this role, they led the quality operations of several Gestamp plants and contributed to the development of strategic quality planning.

Leandro's extensive experience also includes a role as Director Of Quality at Lear Corporation from April 2011 to May 2021. During their time at Lear Corporation, they led and supported the global quality operational organization group in various areas such as development, testing, manufacturing processes, and new product launches. Leandro successfully achieved flawless launches on the GM T1XX Program in 2019/2020 and implemented best industry practices in Lear Structures Plants.

Prior to Lear Corporation, Leandro worked as a Quality Supervisor at thyssenkrupp from November 2006 to March 2011, where they were responsible for quality system implementation and suppliers' development and performance monitoring.

Leandro's earlier work experience includes a role as a Quality Supervisor at Faurecia from September 2004 to November 2006, and a similar role at thyssenkrupp from January 2002 to September 2004. In these roles, they focused on quality system implementation and suppliers' development and performance monitoring.

Leandro began their career as a Quality Technician at Gammastamp spa from June 1997 to December 2001.
