Lorena “Lorie” Bennett, MBA, is an experienced HR professional currently serving at Carlile Transportation since June 2023. Prior to this role, Lorie's expertise was honed in various HR capacities at LKQ Corporation from December 2017 to March 2023, and earlier at UPS as a Fellow & HR for a year in 2017. Additional HR experience includes a tenure at Madigan Army Medical Center from 2014 to 2017, and as a Health Promotion Officer in the US Army from 2011 to 2013. Lorie also directed outdoor recreation and safety at The National Training Center and Fort Irwin between 2007 and 2011. Lorie holds MBA degrees in Human Resources Management and Marketing from American InterContinental University, as well as an OSHA Professional Safety Certification from UC San Diego.

Carlile is a part of the Saltchuk Family of businesses. Founded in 1980 by brothers John and Harry McDonald, Carlile grew from just two tractors to one of Alaska’s largest trucking companies. Today, with over 350 tractors, Carlile offers a full range of transportation and logistics services. Carlile is based in Anchorage, AK and employs 450 people. The wholly owned terminals serve Alaska from Anchorage, Fairbanks, Kenai, Kodiak, Prudhoe Bay and Seward, as well as Tacoma, WA, Houston, TX, and Edmonton, AB.
