Mike Ek

Mike Ek has a diverse work experience in different tax-related roles and positions. Mike began their career in 1996 as a Legislative Intern at the Office of the Governor, State of South Carolina. In 1999, they joined Arthur Andersen Official as an Associate/Senior Associate in the Tax department. After three years, they moved to PwC as a Tax Manager, where they worked for five years until 2007. From 2007 to 2011, they served as the Director of Tax/FP&A at American & Efird. Mike then joined Ernst & Young in 2012 as a Senior Manager until 2014. Mike is currently employed at Carlisle Companies Inc., where they started as a Director of Tax and later became the VP of Tax, a position they still hold.

Mike Ek attended the University of South Carolina from 1994 to 1998, where they studied Accounting. Following this, from 1998 to 1999, Mike pursued a Master of Taxation at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business.
