Jeffrey Schwardt has held various roles in the medical device industry since 1996. Theirwork experience includes Director of Tissue Products & Biologics at Biomet from 1996 to 2003, Director R&D at Kyphon (now Medtronic) from 2003 to 2007, Senior Director R&D at Broncus Technologies from 2007 to 2010, VP R&D and Operations and Chief Operating Officer at Simpirica Spine from 2010 to 2015, VP R&D and Clinical Research at NuVasive Specialized Orthopedics from 2015 to 2018, Senior VP of Operations & Engineering at Swift Health Systems Inc. (dba INBRACE) from 2018 to 2020, and Director Clinical Research & Development at Intuitive from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they are the VP Clinical Affairs at Carlsmed.

Jeffrey Schwardt received their Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania, their B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, and completed a course in Leading Product Development at Harvard Business School Executive Education.
