John S. Oki is an accomplished attorney with a robust legal career spanning over four decades. Currently serving as Of Counsel at Carlsmith Ball since October 2021, John is also a member of Hyperion Ventures, LLC since 2011 and operates as an attorney through their own practice established in 2009. Previous experience includes roles as a foreign attorney at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu and Lee International IP & Law Group, and providing corporate counsel for Pfizer Inc. and Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield. John began their legal career as an associate at Davis Hoxie Faithfull & Hapgood. John holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center and a BS in Engineering from UCLA, complemented by a high school diploma from Iolani.
