Richard Akin is a skilled architectural professional with extensive experience in design and project management. Currently serving as a Project Designer at Carlton Edwards since November 2018, Richard previously held positions as an Associate Architect at Looney Ricks Kiss and as a Project Designer at Carlton Edwards Architecture + Interiors. Richard began a career in architecture as an Intern Architect at Joseph Orr Architecture, PA, following an initial role as a Designer at Garlon Homes, LLC. Educationally, Richard holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Mississippi State University, where studies were completed from 2007 to 2012, and an Associate's degree in Drafting and Design Technology from Copiah-Lincoln Community College.
