Aaron Dunlap

Aaron Dunlap is a Shareholder at Carlton Fields since January 2018, specializing in real estate development law with a focus on land use, entitlement, zoning matters, and lender-side development due diligence. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Village Attorney for the Village of Wellington, where responsibilities encompassed drafting ordinances, reviewing contracts, and representing the Village Council at public hearings. As Assistant General Counsel for the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, Dunlap led a practice group managing legal aspects of community development and comprehensive planning. Earlier in the career, Dunlap worked as an Associate Attorney at Shubin & Bass, P.A., litigating commercial real property and land use matters. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law from the University of Miami School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Miami.
