Guillermo J. Hernandez, CAMS has a solid work experience in the field of compliance and financial regulation. Guillermo J. currently serves as the Director of Compliance at Carlyle Aviation Partners since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Santander Private Banking International as the Sr. Compliance Officer from 2013 to 2021. Guillermo J. also has experience at Protiviti as a Senior Consultant in BSA/AML from 2012 to 2013, where they conducted internal audits for financial institutions and provided specialized knowledge on industry practices. Before that, they worked at The Florida Office of Financial Regulation as a Bank Examiner in Charge from 2006 to 2012.

Guillermo J. Hernandez, CAMS, has a diverse education history in the fields of finance, criminal justice, and cybersecurity. Guillermo J. began their educational journey at Florida State University's College of Business, where they pursued a bachelor's degree in finance. Following this, they enrolled at Florida International University, where they obtained another bachelor's degree in criminal justice. With a keen interest in cybersecurity, Guillermo pursued further education at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they earned a master's degree in the field.

In addition to their academic achievements, Guillermo holds a certification as a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), which they obtained from the ACAMS in September 2011.
