Mark Sweeney

Mark Sweeney is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment strategy and actuarial consulting. Currently serving as the Director of Investment and Strategy at Carlyle Aviation Partners since July 2019, Mark has also held the positions of Pricing Manager and Senior Pricing Associate within the same organization. Prior to this, Mark worked at Willis Towers Watson from September 2012 to December 2018 as an Actuarial Consultant, managing multiple pension scheme management projects. Earlier experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at First Derivatives, where Mark supported credit exposure monitoring for RBS Asia. Mark holds a Master of Science in Risk Management and Financial Regulation and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Queen's University Belfast, as well as a Diploma in Aviation Leasing and Finance from the Law Society of Ireland.
