Carlos Tirado

Carlos Tirado MD, MPH, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of CARMAhealth, a company dedicated to providing comprehensive psychiatric and primary care for addiction and related disorders. Since June 2019, Carlos has also acted as a Senior Medical Advisor for Spark Biomedical, a Texas-based medical device firm focused on treating opioid withdrawal. Additionally, Carlos holds a position as Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Dell Medical School, where responsibilities include mentoring and teaching psychiatry residents. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Medical Advisor at MAP Health Management and ownership of RESTORE FX, an interdisciplinary chronic pain recovery program. Carlos completed a Fellowship in Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania and a residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
