Ronald Schouten

Ronald Schouten is a seasoned software development manager with extensive experience in leading teams and developing a wide range of software applications. Currently serving as the Manager of Software Design at Carmanah Technologies Corp. since June 2016, Ronald employs Agile Development Methodologies to oversee a team of developers working on projects involving Java Microservices, ERP integration, and Bluetooth control applications. Ronald previously held roles such as Senior Front-End Applications Developer at Ocean Networks Canada and Software Engineer at Backstage Games, where work included developing social networking games. Additional experience includes positions as a Senior Web Developer at Mixpo Inc. and Abebooks Inc., and as the Sole Proprietor at Atomeo Web Development, where Ronald built custom websites for various clients. Ronald holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Victoria.
