Matthew Pohl

Matthew Pohl is a seasoned retail professional with extensive experience in sales management and customer service. Currently serving as a Buyer and Sales Manager at CarMax since June 2015, Matthew develops and implements strategies to exceed sales objectives while enhancing customer interactions. Prior to this role, Matthew was a Store Manager at LEGO Group from 2010 to 2015, overseeing daily operations and staff development. Matthew's earlier experience includes roles as Interim Workshop Manager and Community Relations Bear at Build-A-Bear Workshop, where leadership in sales and community engagement was demonstrated. Matthew began a career in retail as a Barista at CuppaJava Espresso Drive-Thru from 2000 to 2003, and holds a degree from California State University-Sacramento, completed in 2005.
