Steve Powers

Steve Powers is an accomplished Principal Systems Engineer at CarMax, where responsibilities have included a progression from Senior Systems Engineer since February 2020. Prior to joining CarMax, Steve served as Corporate Systems Lead at The Cadmus Group from June 2012 to February 2020, focusing on SharePoint deployment and leading initiatives during a phase of significant organizational growth. Earlier experience at Johnson & Johnson as a Document Control Specialist involved developing authority control standards for over 2,000 documents and training the Document Control Team for a major systems migration. Steve holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Maryland, a Bachelor of Arts in History from James Madison University, and a Certificate of Completion from the University of Virginia's Russian Summer Language Institute.
