Phillip Owens

Phillip Owens, CFA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Managing Partner at Carmel Partners, a role assumed in January 2023. Prior to this position, Phillip held the title of Chief Financial Officer at Veritas Investments, Inc. from September 2021 to January 2023. His extensive experience in the finance sector includes a tenure as Managing Director at Green Street, where Phillip worked from August 2009 to September 2021, and as Director of Investments at The Advent Group from February 2006 to October 2008. Earlier experience includes the role of Associate in Investment & Asset Management at Steadfast Companies and Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan. Phillip earned an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from USC Marshall School of Business.
