Sean McKenna

Sean McKenna is a data science professional with extensive experience in the real estate and urban policy sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Associate Data Scientist at Carmel Partners since June 2023, Sean previously worked at Essex Property Trust as a Data Science Associate, focusing on portfolio strategy through advanced analytics. Prior roles include Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto and Quantitative Research Assistant at the RAND Corporation, where contributions were made to projects evaluating urban and economic policy. Sean's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Applied and Computational Mathematics from Caltech. Additionally, experience encompasses computational social science internships and research fellowships that involved applying quantitative methods to various urban issues.
