Michel Leroux has extensive experience in the valve and controls industry, currently serving as Chairman of the Board at Carmela Industries Inc. since March 2022. Prior to this, Michel held the same title at Summit Valve and Controls Inc. and SlurryFlo Valve Corp. from December 2018 to March 2022. Michel was the CEO of SlurryFlo Valve Corp. from June 2004 to March 2022, leading the company to innovate custom control valves tailored for highly abrasive applications in the oilsands mining sector in Edmonton, Alberta. Michel's earlier roles include President at Summit Valve and Controls Inc. and Bray Controls Canada, as well as President at Keystone Valve Canada. Michel holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Polytechnique Montréal, earned between 1970 and 1974.
