Umberto Lago

Umberto Lago is a seasoned management consultant and chartered accountant with extensive experience in advising private and public companies on business and corporate strategies since 1992. Currently serving as a management consultant at PLLC - diritto e finanza d'impresa and an associate professor at the University of Bologna, Lago has held prominent positions including CEO of AIM Vicenza SpA and Rimini Holding, and key roles at UEFA supervising financial compliance in professional football. Lago's expertise encompasses crisis management, business evaluation, and strategic governance, along with holding influential positions on the Supervisory Board of FIFA Clearinghouse SAS. Educated at Imperial College London and Università Bocconi, Lago has also contributed to academia as a professor and lecturer.
