Naqshe Iqbal

Naqshe Iqbal, P.Eng, M.Eng, CMRP, currently serves as the Maintenance Manager at Carmeuse since July 2023. Previously, Iqbal held the role of Reliability/Maintenance Supervisor at Domtar from February 2020 to September 2023, overseeing maintenance teams and managing safety and equipment maintenance. Prior experience includes serving as Maintenance Reliability Supervisor at AV Terrace Bay, focusing on predictive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives, and as Reliability and Maintenance Manager at Weyerhaeuser, where capital projects and maintenance strategies were developed. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from Western University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto. Iqbal is also a past volunteer at APEGA and the Toronto Grace Health Centre, as well as a recipient of the NSERC USRA Award while conducting research at the University of Toronto.
