Sylvain Ghyselen

Sylvain Ghyselen is currently the Head of Operations at Carmeuse, overseeing production and maintenance at the Aisemont site since January 2024. Prior to this role, Sylvain served as Kiln Manager at Carmeuse, responsible for production at the same facility. From July 2021 to February 2024, Sylvain held the position of Glass Coating Production Manager at AGC Glass Europe, following a role as Coating Engineer. Sylvain's earlier experience at Carmeuse included serving as Process Engineer at TecForLime and Production/Process Engineer at the Moha site. Additionally, Sylvain organized conferences for the Contact Cercle Industriel Industries a.s.b.l. (CCII) from September 2017 to September 2018, focusing on employment themes for students. Sylvain holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering in Chemistry and Materials Science from Université catholique de Louvain, completed in 2018, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution, completed in 2016.
