Özge Gürsoy-Yüzügüllü,PhD

Associate Director at Carmine Therapeutics

Özge Gürsoy-Yüzügüllü, PhD, has held a number of positions in the biotechnology and medical fields. In 2008, they began their career as a PhD student at Institut Albert Bonniot. Özge then moved on to become a Research Fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in 2011. In 2014, they became an Instructor at Harvard Medical School. In 2018, they took on the role of Scientist II at Constellation Pharmaceuticals. In 2021, they were promoted to Senior Scientist at Codiak BioSciences. Most recently, they were appointed as Associate Director at Carmine Therapeutics in 2022.

Özge Gürsoy-Yüzügüllü holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology from Bilkent University, obtained between 2006 and 2011. Özge also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Molecular Biology from Boğaziçi University, obtained between 1999 and 2004. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Leadership Strategies for the Researcher from Harvard University and Project Management from Harvard University Extension School.
