Brighid Jay

Brighid Jay has a diverse work experience background. Brighid started their career in 2003 as a Service Member for AmeriCorps Cape Cod. Brighid then worked as a Program Associate for the National Energy Education Development Project from 2004 to 2006. In 2008, they joined the University of Edinburgh as a Research Associate in the Policy and Innovation Group. After three years, they transitioned to Carnegie Clean Energy in 2011, starting as a Commercial Analyst and successfully progressing to the role of Funding Manager. Their most recent position was as the Chief Commercial Officer at Carnegie Clean Energy, a role they held since September 2019.

Brighid Jay obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Environmental Studies from Bowdoin College, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Environmental Sustainability at The University of Edinburgh, attending from 2006 to 2007.
