Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs
Rebecca Distler serves as the Strategic Health Partnerships Lead at OpenAI and a Carnegie Ethics Fellow at the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs. Additionally, Distler is a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations. Previously, Distler directed over $20 million in grants as a Strategist for AI, Data, and Digital Health at The Patrick J. McGovern Foundation and co-chaired the Good Health Pass Interoperability Working Group at ID2020. Distler’s early career includes roles at Forbes Ignite as an Impact Fellow, Element, Inc. as Director of Global Health Initiatives, and Global Health Strategies, where Distler developed partnership strategies and advocacy initiatives for significant health challenges. Distler holds a Master of Public Health from the Yale School of Public Health and a BA in Political Science from Yale University.
