Janice Jackson Edd

Janice Jackson, EdD, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Hope Chicago, aiming to raise and invest $1 billion in scholarships for Chicago Public School graduates. With extensive experience in educational leadership, Janice previously held various significant roles, including Chief Executive Officer and Chief Education Officer of Chicago Public Schools, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing compliance and enhancing academic performance across a large urban district. Additionally, Janice is a member of the Board of Directors at Edmentum and a Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. Janice's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Policy Studies & Educational Leadership from the University of Illinois Chicago and multiple advanced degrees in education and leadership.
