Veeko Lucas

Veeko Lucas currently serves as an Associate at the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, working on the revamping of the Carnegie Classifications for Institutions of Higher Education in collaboration with the American Council on Education. Previous experience includes roles as Engagement Manager and Consultant at Mass Insight Education & Research, and Assistant Principal at Milford Public Schools. Veeko has also held positions such as Director of the Laying The Foundation Design & Innovation program at The National Math and Science Initiative and Senior Effectiveness Coach at TNTP, focusing on school redesign and instructional training. Veeko began a career in education as a Science Teacher at Jefferson County Public Schools. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University, a Master's in Secondary Education from Indiana University Southeast, and a Bachelor's in Biology from Berea College. Currently, Veeko is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration at Northeastern University.
