Jeff Legault is the Co-Founder & EVP of Business Development at Carnegie Foundry. Prior to Carnegie Foundry, Jeff was the Associate Director, Director of Strategic Business Development, and Associate Director of Strategic Business Development at the National Robotics Engineering Center (NREC) for 15 years and 5 months. In their time at NREC, Jeff was responsible for leading negotiation for all large contracts, overseeing resources management, project financial tracking and recruiting, and advising executives from Fortune 500 companies on technology, market trends, and long-term robotics investment. Jeff also captured over $100M of R&D contracts in 10 years, grew business from $15M/year to $30M/year in 4 years, oversaw marketing and recruiting staff, and led several process changes to enhance NREC’s competitiveness in the recruiting market.

After their time at NREC, Jeff became the General Manager & Business Development Manager at Telops USA, Inc. where they were responsible for developing strategies for business growth in the mining, manufacturing, agriculture and defense markets as well as new market penetration for our R&D services in robotics and autonomy. In their 4 years at Telops USA, Inc., Jeff led and oversaw a full range of marketing and communication activities and close $10M of business per year.

Jeff Legault has a Master of Science from Université de Sherbrooke in the field of Physics - Semiconductors, as well as a Bachelor of Science from Université de Sherbrooke in Physics.
