Florian Richard

Florian Richard is an experienced arts administrator currently serving as an Associate in Artistic Planning at Carnegie Hall since January 2024. Previously, Florian held the position of Instrumental Ensembles Associate at Manhattan School of Music for a brief period in late 2023. From November 2018 to March 2023, Florian was the Artistic & Event Project Manager at Elbphilharmonie und Laeiszhalle Betriebsgesellschaft mbH, managing operational aspects of over 100 concerts per season. Florian also contributed to the 2018 performance festival IMPLANTIEREN as Director of Production and Operations at ID_Frankfurt e.V. and served as Assistant to the General Manager and Program Director at the Institute for Contemporary Music Frankfurt. Earlier roles include Associate in Artistic Administration at the Nuremberg State Theater and Assistant Financial Controller. Florian's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Theater and Orchestra Management from Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Cultural Management from Hochschule Heilbronn.
