Mary Benjamin

Chief Financial Officer at Carnegie Hall

Mary Benjamin is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Carnegie Hall. Mary was previously the Chief Treasury Officer at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from December 2009 to October 2016. Ms. Benjamin was recruited by the CFO into a leadership role in the management of the Museum's treasury operations and they continued to take on additional accounting functions. Mary built and managed a 20-member team responsible for cash management, payroll, and donor/investment/endowment accounting and reporting. Ms. Benjamin also played a key role in the migration to a cloud-based Workday system.

Mary Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida State University.

Mary Benjamin reports to Clive Gillinson, Executive and Artistic Director. Mary Benjamin works with Aaron Levine - Chief Information Officer, Joseph Schmaderer - Director of Hall Operations, and Richard Malenka - Chief Administrative Officer.
