Oliver Xu

Oliver Xu is a versatile professional with a unique combination of expertise in music and software engineering. Currently serving as a percussionist in Carnegie Hall's Ensemble Connect since August 2023, Oliver previously performed with the Lucerne Festival Academy, contributing to the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra. A graduate of both The Juilliard School (Master's in Music) and the University of Rochester and Eastman School of Music (Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Applied Music), Oliver's technical experience spans multiple roles, including Software Engineer at Narmi and Product Manager at Competitive Solutions, Inc., where collaboration and software development were key responsibilities. Internships at ActionIQ and 1010data involved significant contributions to software engineering projects, while an earlier internship at Ford Motor Company highlighted capabilities in embedded applications and cross-functional collaboration.
