Jenise Bland

Jenise Bland, Ed. D, currently serves as Senior Manager of School Partnerships at Carnegie Learning since September 2020, following a prior role as Manager of School Partnerships. Jenise's experience in education includes serving as a Math Coach at Brain Spark, where support was provided to students in overcoming their fear of math. Previous positions also include Mathematics Teacher in Montgomery County Public Schools and various teaching roles at Henry Ford Academy School for Creative Studies, focusing on high school and middle school mathematics. Jenise's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration and Policy Studies from The George Washington University, a Master's Degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Michigan State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Secondary Education from the same institution. In addition to teaching, Jenise has engaged in community service as a Service Leader Intern with the Children's Defense Fund and contributed to research as a Ronald E. McNair Scholar.
