Asrar Alruwayqi currently holds positions as a Research Collaborator at the Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Institute and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Human Sensing Laboratory. Alruwayqi's research focuses on multi-person multi-view mesh recovery and a Generative AI Model, respectively. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Mentor at Lumiere Education, providing guidance in Computer Vision and Machine Learning, and participating in McKinsey & Company’s Forward Program, aimed at developing essential career skills. Alruwayqi has also worked as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University on self-supervised object detection, and has held roles as a Research Engineer at SDAIA in Saudi Arabia, a Software Developer at the National Information Center, and a Software Programmer at stc. Alruwayqi is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computer Vision at Carnegie Mellon University, expected to be completed in May 2024.
