Chad Hilton

Chad Hilton, JD, MBA, CSSLP, serves as a Principal Software Engineer at Carnegie Mellon University since August 2014, after progressing through various roles in software and systems engineering at the institution. Previously, Chad held positions at the University of Pittsburgh as a Lead Systems Analyst and Database Developer and served as a Client Application Developer I for the City of Pittsburgh. Chad's legal experience includes serving as a Contract Attorney at Eckert Seamans and an Associate at Carpenter, McCadden & Lane LLP. Earlier career roles include Systems Integrator I and Systems Software Consultant at PNC Bank and a Sr. Software Engineer at Fidelity Investments. Chad holds a JD in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business, a BA in History from Eastern Connecticut State University, and completed education at Harvard University.
