Chris Timperley

Chris Timperley is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in computer science and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Scientist at Carnegie Mellon University since November 2016, Chris has previously held positions as a Systems Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher. Prior to this, Chris co-founded Analytica Informatics, where the development of a high-performance cloud-based system for financial data analysis took place. In addition, Chris has experience from an internship at the University of York, where responsibilities included migrating a web page to a new content management system. Chris's entrepreneurial spirit emerged early with the creation of a successful online game, which funded university studies. Academic qualifications include a PhD and an MEng in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence from the University of York.
