Daniel Fried

Daniel Fried is currently an Assistant Professor at Carnegie Mellon University since August 2022. Prior to this role, Daniel served as a Visiting Researcher at Meta from August 2021 to August 2022. Daniel's research experience includes positions as a Research Intern at Google DeepMind, Microsoft, and the Nara Institute of Science and Technology, as well as a Research Assistant at The University of Arizona. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, acquired between 2015 and 2021, and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge. Daniel completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Information Science at the University of Arizona from 2010 to 2014.
