David Gardner

David Gardner serves as the Senior Associate Director of Development at Carnegie Mellon University since August 2011, where responsibilities include collaborating with faculty to identify private foundation prospects, managing annual giving efforts, and enhancing donor stewardship. Gardner has chaired the Giving CMU Day campus-wide stewardship subcommittee and was selected as a 2023 University Advancement Leadership Fellow. Previous roles include Associate Director and Assistant Director of Development, along with serving as a Development Associate and Administrative Assistant. In addition to current professional endeavors, Gardner is pursuing a Master of Arts in Professional Writing at Carnegie Mellon University, following earlier degrees in Music, including a Master's in Trumpet Performance.
