Matt Germaine

Matt Germaine is an accomplished Systems Software Engineer at Carnegie Mellon University, where responsibilities include developing and maintaining applications for campus network device registration and removal. Concurrently, Matt serves as a freelance writer for TUBE CITY COMMUNITY MEDIA INC, focusing on news stories in the McKeesport/Mon Valley area. Prior experience includes significant software development at PNC, where automation efforts significantly reduced manual work, and notable contributions to community service organizations through various roles in AmeriCorps and Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Matt holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from The College of Wooster and is currently pursuing an MBA at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business.
