Mick Koster

Mick Koster currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Development at Carnegie Mellon University, a position held since November 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing various units within University Advancement and working closely with alumni and donors. Prior to this role, Mick was the Executive Director of Gift Planning at Carnegie Mellon, leading a team to assist donors with their philanthropic goals. Mick Koster founded Thomas Mitchell & Associates in 2015, focusing on enhancing nonprofit gift planning strategies, and previously held positions at Comerica as Vice President & Senior Philanthropic Advisor and at Strategic Partners, Inc. as Senior Consultant. Mick Koster obtained a Master of Public Administration from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Calvin University.
