Mike Tomon

Mike Tomon is an accomplished academic and military leader, currently serving as a Professor of Naval Science and Commanding Officer at Carnegie Mellon University. Previous military experience includes the role of Squadron Deputy at Submarine Squadron 17 and Commanding Officer of USS MAINE (B). Additionally, Mike Tomon has contributed to military operations as a Doctrine Writer with USSOCOM. Mike Tomon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Penn State University from 1995 to 1999 and furthered education at Old Dominion University between 2004 and 2007.
