Rachelle Giard

Rachelle Giard is an experienced professional in advancement and fundraising, currently serving as the Director of Advancement at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History since January 2023. Previously, Rachelle held the position of Advancement Specialist for Membership and Annual Giving Programs at the Smithsonian American Art Museum from September 2015 to November 2021, achieving significant revenue growth through strategic membership initiatives and donor engagement. With a background that includes roles such as Individual Giving Manager at the Salzburg Global Seminar and various positions in gallery management and art curation, Rachelle possesses a strong foundation in arts and philanthropy. Rachelle holds a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Ithaca College.
