Deborah Alfaro

Deborah Alfaro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT risk and compliance, human resources information systems, and psychotherapy counseling. Currently serving as the Sr Manager IT Risk & Compliance at Carnival Corporation since October 2022 and as the CEO of Arise Counseling & Consulting, LLC since April 2022, Deborah utilizes expertise to innovate and drive change in both sectors. Previously, at Princess Cruises from September 2007 to April 2022, Deborah held several key roles including Director of HRIS Reporting Analytics and Services, where responsibilities included managing data analytics, governance, and change management for HR systems across multiple cruise lines. Additionally, Deborah has a background in therapeutic roles, having served as an Associate Therapist at Caring Connected and a Staff Therapist Associate at the Family Service Agency of Burbank. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, both from Brandman University.
