John Haeflinger

John Haeflinger currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Maritime Policy at Carnival Corporation & plc, a leading global cruise company, where responsibilities include overseeing maritime policy across a diverse portfolio of cruise brands. Previously, John held the position of Vice President of Group Strategy at Carnival Corporation, focusing on enhancing communication and operational efficiencies within the company. Prior experience includes serving as a Principal at Boston Consulting Group and working as a District Sales Representative at Nalco Chemical Company. John also served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, where duties included heading the Tactical Systems Department on a Trident Class nuclear submarine. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a summa cum laude BS in Civil Engineering from Marquette University.
