Kristen Gruca Chmm

Kristen Gruca, CHMM, currently serves as Senior Department Manager at Carnow, Conibear & Assoc., Ltd., leading a team of environmental specialists and engineers in conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, IEPA Site Remediation Program investigations, and various environmental compliance projects. Kristen's prior roles include Senior Project Manager and Project Manager at the same firm, as well as Environmental Quality Analyst at the Michigan State Housing Development Authority, where oversight of environmental review records for housing projects was essential. Additional experience includes serving as a Soil Conservationist with USDA-NRCS, where Kristen provided conservation planning to landowners, alongside internships and roles focusing on environmental issues, including a column for The Michigan Daily and a composting initiative at Argonne National Laboratory. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science in Program in the Environment from the University of Michigan, with a specialization in Soil Ecology.
